Email Continuity

However, with EveryCloud email continuity, you’ll be able to keep a rolling 90-day archive of all inbound and outbound email. You’ll also be able to access this cloud-based archive whenever you need to using the POP, IMAP or webmail protocol. 
The email continuity feature is an optional add-on for EveryCloud Email that you can activate in a matter of seconds. Furthermore, you can synchronize the system with the LDAP protocol so that your employees can retain access to the email archives using the same login details that they always use. Being a cloud-based solution, it also works on any Internet-enabled platform.

Email Archiving

Our mail flow monitor is a completely free add-on for EveryCloud that can save your business from many hours of lost productivity. 
Setting up the mail flow monitor couldn’t be easier and, once it has been configured, it will automatically check your mail server every ten minutes. If a problem arises, we will immediately send you an email to an alternative email address to let you know. However, just in case you miss the email, we’ll also call you as soon as we identify an issue. 

EveryCloud Outlook Plugin 

Microsoft Outlook remains one of the most popular email clients in the business world. As such, EveryCloud provides full support for the client by way of a plugin for setting up and managing email filters within Outlook itself. If you also choose to use our email archiving service, you’ll also be able to search through historic emails without leaving the application. 
With the help of the plugin, you’ll be able to take advantage of all our main services using the familiar interface of Outlook. You’ll be able to blacklist or whitelist senders, instantly report emails as spam or marketing content, request a spam report and more. Best of all, the plugin is available at no extra fee, and it works with any version of Outlook from 2010 to current editions.

What is a targeted attack?
An attack is regarded as “targeted” when the following criteria are fulfilled:
  • The attackers have a very specific objective,

  • The objective of the attack is to steal information from company servers by infiltrating the network.

  • The attackers have identified the objective precisely, planned the attacks over a long period and concealed them so well that they cannot be detected in traditional ways.

EveryClooud Advanced Threat Protection provides your business with effective security using targeted fraud forensics. The engines are used to prevent personalized attacks on employees in a company. Emails are analyzed for specific patterns of content that point to malicious intent. They include, for example, demands for payment and requests for the release of data.

The number of attacks using ransomware has increased steadily in recent years and has reached a peak since the start of 2016. Tesla, Locky, Goldeneye and so on have been the downfall of many targeted companies. According to BSI, a third of the companies surveyed have already been affected by ransomware and 75% of those cases were the result of infected email attachments. It is therefore particularly important to protect yourself against attacks of this sort. After all, not only costs to your own company can be caused, such as interruption to production, forensics or fines, but also external losses such as failure to comply with contractual conditions or meet delivery times. This affects customers, partners and employees and damages the reputation of the company as a whole.

Sandbox engine
This filtering mechanism checks email attachments for harmful code by creating a secure test environment (the sandbox). In this virtual, isolated area, potentially unsafe actions can be carried out and their effects tested. If it emerges that malware is present, the e-mails are sent directly into quarantine and the company’s IT security team is notified.
When EveryCloud’s Advanced Threat Protection classifies emails as suspicious but cannot categorize them definitively, freezing is used. Suspicious emails are temporarily frozen so that they can be scanned again with updated signatures after a short time. This also allows zero-day-exploits to be detected – as soon as the virus detection engines come across something in the second scan, the email is moved straight into quarantine.
